Well with the mourning of an injury from Mammoth and winter now here it's time to catch up on work. I am still fighting for a bike park here in Big Bear. We will have a big event coming in the summer. Keep your eyes out for what's to come!

We got something big! Bear Valley Trail Riders and our cause of getting a bike park in Big Bear have been published in Decline. August issue page 40 is a two page spread on what we're trying to accomplish.

Could not ask for a more beautiful day. Okay well maybe we could of asked for rain the night before, but that's getting greedy.

First run was before the ride. I wanted to get there early to check trail conditions. Pirates had 3-4 downed trees that Happy Gilmore and I tried doing some maintenance on until we realized what time it was. Fern only has one down with an easy go around.

So many new faces in the group neither Chuck or I recognized anyone so I just got on my truck and yelled for STR riders. Found them and away we went.

First ride run was pirates and fern again for the group. Everyone did very well.

Second run for the group was upper and lower fall line. Fairly good shape. Better than pirates IMO. 

Had lunch up at the view haus.

Third run was.... well..... an adventure! Lots of downed trees and HAB just from natures destruction. 

I am very sun burnt and bush wacked and loved every minute of it! Thanks everyone who came!!!

Our party was a hit! Not as many showed as were expected and we had just an amazing time none the less. Great dining, drinks, movie and company. Had some great discussion before and after the movie Pinned about what needs to be done here in the Valley and how we can accomplish it. Many great views and opinions. The raffle was a blast! Had two people win from up here that don't even mountain bike and now another goal of mine is to get them mountain biking! Thanks everyone for coming!
